Daniel Dryden, LMFT & LCPC
Daniel brings a deeply grounded, experiential approach to his work, shaped by a life spent in relationship with both people and the natural world. He grew up in rural Alaska, surrounded by towering mountains, glacial rivers, and dramatic seasonal shifts in light and climate. Living within these extremes taught him that steadiness and stillness can be found even in challenging and uncertain conditions.
Before becoming a mental health counselor, Daniel spent many years working as a wilderness guide, experiential education consultant, carpenter, and heavy equipment operator—often in demanding, remote environments. These experiences cultivated a deep respect for vulnerability, resilience, and the wisdom that emerges when people meet life with humility and presence.
As a therapist, parent, artist, adventurer, and tradesperson, Daniel believes healing happens through connection—to the body, to community, and to one’s authentic self. His work at Trubriety emphasizes safety, embodiment, and experiential learning, supporting individuals as they develop greater capacity, self-trust, and meaning in their lives.
